The controversy in arbitration continues. After the statements of the president of River, Jorge Brito, who targeted Federico Beligoy for his incompatibility of functions, Pablo Lunati shot his former colleague. Anyone who was a referee, a well-known fan of the millionaire, has publicly crossed paths with the National Director of Arbitration on social media.

“You lie again! The last two elections, this one in August and that of 2017, have not been democratic, the president of the AFA has stopped designating the entire list that would stand as a candidate against her. And you know what? Lie again … look! ” posted Lunati on her Twitter account. And he opened a thread in which he presented a letter from the National Directorate of Trade Union Associations addressed to the Ministry of Labor on January 25, 2019 accusing Beligoy of “unfair practice” for his dual function as trade union secretary of the Argentine Association of Referees (AAA ) and his position as National Director of Arbitration of the AFA. Issue no. 2019/05048044 consists of 14 pages.

Lunati accompanies his tweets with another letter addressed to the AAA on November 11, 2018 asking Beligoy to cease his duties as union secretary. It is signed by Edgar Hugo Otero, Amilcar Sandanella and Javier Castiglia, members of the union and former arbitrators, the same who later went to the Labor Court.

“The cause you say has not prospered is boxed, Federico Beligoy. It’s in a box, I pa (sic), part or part at any moment … Don’t lie to people, no AAA secretary was the National Director of Arbitration. I mean, he never commanded both of them. I mean, lie! ”, Lunati pointed out.

“Obviously, I don’t really agree with what he says. He spoke of incompatibility of functions, everyone knows that I have been secretary of the union of the three As for 9 years and that it is the product of legal and statutory support. Lunati refers to this complaint. Beligoy is part of the employers’ association and the trade union. And she has several open fronts.
