Ricardo Centurión and Néstor Ortigoza were not part of the call by San Lorenzo interim manager Fernando Berón to face Unión in Santa Fe on Tuesday for the eleventh round of the Professional League Cup.
Centurión was not in training on Sunday and the club reported that he was given “rest due to lower back pain”, raising rumors of an act of indiscipline.
The former Racing and Boca, however, showed up Monday morning in training, working differently for the same reason and not considering Berón, like Ortigoza, affected by contracture in the left piriformis muscle.
Ortigoza will not be going to Santa Fe either.
Midfielder Alexis Sabella (left quadriceps trauma) and Colombian Yeison Gordillo, who received five yellow cards, and defenders Gino Peruzzi and Alejandro Donatti, who oppose the club, are also not traveling to Santa Fe .
