Iconic scene from “The Truman Show”, a feature film starring Jim Carrey, appears on the Cannes poster
Days after revealing the films selected for its 75th edition, the Cannes Film Festival 2022 announced this Tuesday (19) the official poster for the 2022 edition.
The predominantly blue poster is stamped with one of the most iconic scenes from “The Truman Show”, a feature film starring Jim Carrey. The event takes place between the 17th and 28th of May.

Among the films chosen for the competition are “Crimes of the Future”, by David Cronenberg starring Kristen Stewart; “Stars at Noon” by Claire Denis with Joe Alwyn; “Armageddon Time”, new film by James Gray with Anne Hathaway; “Three Thousand Years of Longing” by George Miller starring Idris Elba; and “Showing Up” by Kelly Reichardt with Michelle Williams in the cast.
Already out of competition, the 75th Annual Cannes Film Festival will feature the premieres of “Top Gun: Maverick”, a new film in the franchise starring Tom Cruise, who will be the big honoree of the event. The biography “Elvis”, starring Austin Butler and directed by Baz Luhrmann (“Moulin Rouge”) is also confirmed.
