Near the Capital

La Renga will perform in the capital Buenos Aires as part of the tour where he will present his latest work, not on the grid.

The shows will mark La Renga’s return to the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, since its last performance was in 2017 at the Huracán stadium, Tomás A. Ducó, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Parque Patricios.

The revenge

It will also work as a kind of revenge after the show they would offer at the Estadio Único de La Plata in 2016 was suspended by a decision of the provincial government, at that time under the management of María Eugenia Vidal.

The cancellation of their concerts is not news for the band, which in 2018 suspended a recital at the José María Minella stadium in Mar del Plata, and this summer it had to change locations after not being allowed by authorities. from the province of Neuquén they would have given on March 19 on the coastal promenade of the capital city.

After denouncing “stigmatization and discrimination” in their audience, the band led by Chizzo Nápoli moved the show to the city of General Fernández Oro, in the province of Río Negro and 15 kilometers from the original venue.

That was until now the last stop on the presentation’s national tour not on the grid, who also passed through Santa María de Punilla, Córdoba; the Autodromo Martín Miguel de Güemes, in Salta; and the Potrero de los Funes Race Track in San Luis.
