the filmmaker Zack Snyder (“Justice League”) used social media to share the first images of “Rebel Moon”, his new science-fiction movie for Netflix. The director published behind-the-scenes photos and the actor’s look Djimon Hounsou (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) to announce that filming began last Tuesday (19). Check it out below:

The plot tells the story of an intergalactic colony threatened by the forces of a tyrannical ruler. Due to these conflicts, a desperate group sends a young woman with a mysterious past on a search for warriors from neighboring planets to help them defeat the villain.

The protagonist of the long will be Sofia Boutella, from “The Mummy”, “Atomica” and “Modern Love”. The list also has Rupert Friend (“Hitman: Agent 47”), Stuart Martin (“Army of the Dead: Invasion of Las Vegas”), Charlie Hunnam (“Sons of Anarchy”), Alfonso Herrera (“Ozark”), Doona Bae and Ray Fisheramong others.

The film will have a script written by Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad, who was also responsible for the screenplay for “300”. So far, the release date of “Rebel Moon” has not been announced.
