NBA Playoffs: Golden State, one step away from sweeping Dallas and close to the 2022 Finals

Golden State took a big blow to Dallas by winning the road 109-100 and establishing a 3-0 difference in the Western Conference finals of the NBA. Such was the Warriors, who once again had Sthepen Curry as a great figure just one win to get into the 2022 Finalsto try to take his seventh title in the American league.

Luka Doncic’s brilliant performance was useless to the Texan team. The Slovenian’s 40 points were not enough to prevent a defeat to leave the Mavericks on the edge of the cliff. Never before in NBA history has a team bounced back from a playoff series after losing the first three games.

Curry, who he scored 31 points and gave up 11 assists, led by 30 points for the forty -seventh time in his postseason career. In this way, he showed his team the road to success, supported by an Andrew Wiggins who also had an inspired night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

The Canadian forward, who is hesitant for this game due to left ankle pain, has made a huge contribution to the boards by taking 11 rebounds (6 defensive and 5 offensive) and is also great on the other side, which with 27 points.

Curry, spicy, had three triples at halftime, while Doncic added fifteen points with seven rebounds in Dallas, supported by twelve from Jalen Brunson and eleven from Spencer Dinwiddie.

The turning point was in favor of the Warriors

Steve Kerr’s team built on their previous wins against Dallas with a brilliant third period, and history hasn’t changed at home for the Mavericks. Golden State put together a 30-21 run at Curry’s pace, to enter the fourth quarter with a light 10 units.

Doncic gave his all in an effort to avoid defeat of the Mavericks, but with his great offensive plays the Warriors responded with triples from Curry and Thompson, and with a Wiggins that provided the image of the night with the dunk against the European.

The Slovenian star reached for forty points with some great play and gave Spencer Dinwiddie an assist for a 99-104 triple that gave his team hope, but seconds later it was Jordan Poole who hit the three-point shot that will seal the battle.

If I knew what we needed to win these games, I would. We continue to study. We can learn a lot, this is my first conference finals. I am 23 years old, I am still learning a lot, “he said. Doncic at a press conference after the match.

Leading 3-0 in the series, the Warriors will face Dallas again this Tuesday, out of 22 in our countrywith the possibility to judge the series and seal the ticket for the Finals, against the winner of the Boston Celtics-Miami Heat, whose decisive series in the East is 2-1 in favor of Florida.

With 146 times a team has led 3-0 in a playoff series, they are always advancing.
