Gabriela Sabatini and Gisela Dulko lost their second match in the Roland Garros legends group, but still have the chance to reach the final. They fell 6-4 twice against locals Tatiana Golovin and Nathalie Tauziat and they are forced to close this first stage with a win to maintain their chances of accessing the next instance.

They had beaten Americans Lindsay Davenport and Mary Joe Fernández 6-3 and 6-3 on their debut and they went to Suzanne Lenglen, the second most important route in the Bois de Boulogne, with the aim of winning a victory and being one step away from qualifying.

In any case, the goal was also to enjoy a tournament that was more than special for both of them and in a way that allowed them to play in a relaxed way and have fun, which is more complex in the professional team.

The tournament of legends features eight pairs of doubles, divided into two groups. Each team will play three games until Friday, one against each of the rivals in their area, and, at the end of this first phase, The best of each group will advance to the final, which will be played on Saturday.

In addition to Davenport-Fernández and Golovin-Tauziat, Sabatini and Dulko share Group A with Iva Majoli and Mary Pierce, in front of which they will close this first instance.

In group B appears one of the greatest of all time as Martina Navratilova, who will play with the Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova. There are also the Italians Flavia Pennetta and Francesca Schiavone, the local Sandrina Testud with the American Chanda Rubin and the Australian Rennae Stubbs with the Bulgarian Magdalena Maleeva.
