The event takes place between the 17th and 28th of May in France
The Directors’ Fortnight, an exhibition that takes place in parallel with the Cannes Film Festival, released this Tuesday (5th), the poster for its 54th edition.
It was founded in 1969, by the Society of Film Directors (Société des réalisateurs de films), after the events of May 1968, which resulted in the cancellation of the Cannes Film Festival, as an act of solidarity with the striking workers.

Last year, Brazil was represented in the session by the film “Medusa”, by Anita Rocha da Silveira.
This year’s Cannes Film Festival will take place between the 17th and 28th of May, traditionally, on the French Riviera.
