The Valcartier base lost its drone and appealed to Quebec residents

The drone lost its Valcartier military base this week, which may have been owned by an individual in the Quebec region.

The location of the lightweight unmanned aircraft system is unknown at this time, the 2nd Canadian Division Support Base in Valcartier said in a statement on Friday.

The military base said it had reason to believe he could be that on civilian land within the Capitale-Nationale region.

The RAVEN-B lightweight unmanned aircraft system, commonly referred to as a drone, suffered technical problems during training at the Valcartier base premises earlier this week, it was claimed.

The military base said it is continuing research to locate the drone and is asking people in the Quebec region to contact it if the device is discovered.

Officials ensured that the device does not pose any risk to the population.

The RAVEN-B has a width (wingspan) of 1.4 m and a length of 0.9 m, according to military base indications.
