“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” opens in theaters May 5

A new teaser for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” has been released and shows the return of Billy (Julian Hilliard) and Tommy (Jett Klyne) Maximoffthe twins of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth olsen) and Eyesight (Paul Bettany), who appeared in the “WandaVision” series. The preview shows the Scarlet Witch suffering from the loss of her children and how that pain still consumes her.

The commercial also shows the Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) facing its darkest self, a variant of the multiverse that dabbled in forbidden magic in the animated series “What If…?”, which is available on Disney+. Check out:

in the comics, Wanda uses the demon’s life essence Mephisto to give soul to her children, who are raised by her, just like in “WandaVision”. However, whoever gives can also take and is Mephisto who ends up with Wanda’s happiness, reabsorbing Billy and Tommy and causing them to cease to exist. In the series, as we have seen, they disappear along with the reality created by Avenger.

ON “DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS”

the second movie Stephen Strange will be set shortly after the events of the third film from Peter parker (Tom Holland), “Spider-Man: No Homecoming”, in which he helps make the world forget the hero’s true identity. The story shows the mirrored world out of control, having to go after Wanda to help you face this new danger.

Directed by Sam Raimi (“Spider-Man”), “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” hits Brazilian theaters on May 5, 2022.
