The first Seville derby of the 2022/23 season will be played on November 6, 2022 at the Benito Villamarin, in a match on matchday 13 that will measure Real Betis against Sevilla FC, just three days before LaLiga stops for a month and a half for the World Cup in Qatar, which will happen after the matches on matchday 14 (Valencia-Betis and Sevilla -Real society). The Seville derby of the second round will be played on matchday 35 at the Ramón Sánchez – Pizjuán, on May 21, 2023, just three days before the end of LaLiga.
The 2022/23 season will begin with Real Betis hosting Elche on August 13/14 at the Benito Villamarín, while Sevilla FC will travel to Pamplona to face Osasuna. The last day of LaLiga has brought a Betis-Valencia and a Real Sociedad-Sevilla FC.
