NATO is making a plan for a permanent military presence on its borders to prevent future Russian aggression, the Telegramquoted Atlantic Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

” We are now witnessing a new reality, a new ‘normal’ for European security. That’s why we asked our military commanders to present options for what we call a reset, a long-term NATO adaptation. “
Jens Stoltenberg, who recently agreed to extend his term as head ofNATOalso said that decisions about this reset will be made at the Alliance summit to be held in Madrid in June.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has caused the biggest refugee crisis in Europe since World War II and led Western countries to rethink their defense policy.
