CAPIF, the body that organizes the Gardel Awards every year, has announced the list of artists who will perform in the eight musicals in the ceremony next Tuesday, August 23from the Movistar Arena stage.
Confirmed names are Tini, Abel Pintos, Airbag, Cazzu, RusherkingDavid Lebon, The KongaNahuel Pennisi, Alejandro Lerner, Gustavo SantaolallaAngela Torres, Zoe Gotusso, Ahyre, Julieta Laso and Miau Trio.
The ceremony will be divided into two parts and there will be a total of eight musicals involving fifteen artists, representing the most diverse genres and generations of Argentine music.
As usual in the celebration of the Gardel Awards, the shows will be encounters between artists giving life to various collaborations that seek to combine talents, styles and blend genres in new versions and expressions of local music.

Who broadcasts the ceremony
The 2022 Gardel Awards gala will be broadcast by Star + from 20:30, the time when the signal will start to be broadcast live from the red carpet.
He will be responsible for the transmission of the carpet Lizardo Ponce (influencer) e William Gilbert (presenter of Radio Disney), who will interview the artists who will participate in the event, coloring with their unique styles one of the most critical and fun moments of the gala.

On June 30 CAPIF announced all the candidates for this edition, which returns in person after two years and is dominated by representatives of urban music. The artist with the most nominations is Wos, with 8. It is followed by Thunder, with 7. Then comes Tiago PZK and Abel Pintos with 6.
Behind them, with 5 candidates appear Tini, María Becerra and Ca7riel. Knowing Russia and La K’onga compete in 4 categories, and those with 2 nominations are Nathy Peluso, Dillom, Bizarrap and Nicki Nicole.
