BMW launched on the market X3 xDrive 30ea model plug-in hybrid (plug-in) with which he begins to take his first steps in Argentina in terms of electromobility.
In this way, the range of the successful midsize SUV adds this new version that combines a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine with 184 horsepower with an 80 kW (109 hp) electric powertrain integrated into the 8-speed Steptronic gearbox.
Together, both power units deliver 292 CV and a maximum torque of 420 Nm, allowing this SUV of over two tons (2,065 kilos) to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km / h.
The electric motor is powered by a 12 kWh lithium-ion battery (located under the rear seat) which allows the vehicle to travel between 42 and 50 kilometers in 100% electric mode.
The battery can be charged conventional household outletss via the standard computer cable and it takes approximately 3.5 hours to reach full charge.
while with the wall box or wall charger (supplied with the car), the full charging time is reduced to 2.5 hours.
In turn, the brand emphasizes that the combination of the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system with BMW eDrive technology reduces average fuel efficiency, reaching close to levels. 3.2 l / 100 km.
Aesthetically, the X3 xDrive30e offers the new aesthetic features of other models of the brand, among which the new kidneys of the grille stand out.
For its part, in terms of equipment, it comes standard with the Driving Assistant, a driving assistance system which includes the warning of lane departure from approximately 70 km / h through the vibration of the steering wheel; detection of vehicles in “blind spot” from about 20 km / h; autonomous emergency brake; and automatic parking assistant.
