Between 1968 and 1982, Ford Argentina was built 41 rural and border schools In our country. And since 2003 it has been in the stage of remodeling and updating them. The last to receive this refurbishment was school No. 1-367 in El Chacay, in Mendoza.

Ford’s first intervention took place in 1973, when a new school opened. And now the time has come for remodeling that has brought a necessary solution to an everyday problem.

El Chacay school now has a multipurpose room of 450 m2 completely new, built on the former school grounds and discovered.

It is a space where students and teachers can conduct educational and recreational activities throughout the school year in comfort and safety, regardless of weather conditions, especially during the winter.

For the reopening, a special event was developed where a day with recreational activities and games for children was designed. It was also attended by former soccer player Jorge Burruchaga, the goal scorer who gave the Argentine soccer team its last world championship, in 1986, who gave a speech to students about the importance of teamwork.
