The most immediate new, then, is the arrival of the new Renault Oroch in the coming months, to put the Rombo brand in line with the range of the latest generation products from Ford and Fiat.

Confirmed in Argentina for 2022, Oroch was presented in Brazil this week with a new 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and 155 horsepower. Developed in conjunction with Mercedes Benz and the alliance Renault nissanis the same that the new generation of Duster is already offering here.

In the most expensive versions of the range, this booster is associated with an eight -speed CVT automatic gearbox and, according to data provided by the manufacturer, the new Oroch achieves a top speed of 189 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km /h in 9.9 seconds.

With this pickup renewal, the 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 143 horsepower will no longer be available. Entry-level versions are equipped with a 1.6-liter, 115-horsepower gasoline engine.

In addition to mechanical changes, the new Oroch finally incorporates stability control (ESP) and Traction, as well as the Hill Start Assistant and the Rollover System. Both drives also feature a standard start-stop system and ECO driving mode.

The most noticeable aesthetic changes to the Rombo pickup are seen in the trunk, where the front grille and headlights have been changed, and the bumper has been renewed. On the side, the wheel arches have been redesigned and it has new alloy wheels. The Oroch inscription ends at the gate of the box.

Inside, for its part, a new touch screen stands out better integrated on the console than the current model, which dictates the information and entertainment system. The air vents have also changed, are now rectangular, and it features new seats, upholstery and interior door panels.

Until the arrival of the new pickup, the Duster Oroch will continue to be sold at local dealerships along with its range of versions with simple or integrated traction, and prices from $ 3,830,000 to $ 4,710,000.

In Brazil, the new Oroch with a 1.6 engine began to be sold at prices similar to the Fiat Strada loaded (a smaller truck), while the 1.3 Turbo was installed in the Toro base range. In any case, adjustments for Argentina have not yet been confirmed. The concrete thing is that the renewal of pickups does not stop.
