Honda plans to release three well-defined groups of bicycles. One, consisting of two models, will have the moped conceptry will be released in Asia, Europe and Japan in 2024 and 2025.

According to the brand, these models will have a “unique added value” to adapt to the needs and regulations of their respective markets, and will have interchangeable batteries.

The middle group, called “Electric commuter vehicles”has five confirmed models to launch between 2022 and 2025 in Europe, China, Japan and the rest of Asia.

Honda has made it clear that not all models will reach all countries, since some of them will see the light through the different alliances they have in certain markets (mainly China).

Honda makes it clear that the key to electrification is in the solid state batteries which are currently in development for its auto division, and which would be a viable option for electric motorcycles.
