Despite the crisis, companies are not stopping their investments to fight climate change

Last week, the Chamber of Environmental Enterprises (CEMA) organized its annual seminar in the Techint group auditorium.

There, the degree of Preparation of Argentine companies for the energy transition. There have been several speakers and cases of decarbonization processes such as Toyota’s have been reported.

Countries that buy Argentine products, especially Europe, have has raised the bar in caring for the environment, most of the participants stressed, warning that if Argentina does not accelerate this process, it could be left out of the markets.

The good news according to CEMA’s Osvaldo Simonini is that despite the pandemic and now the war in Ukraine investments did not decrease in the Sustainability Programs outlined by the companies.
