The head of the economic portfolio has announced that in a few days they will be just over 2,000 products included in the program.
That list includes second brands, wholesale brands, supermarket brands, and even the Great Value brand (the one marketed by Walmart).
The list also includes everything from food, dairy, cleaning products, perfumery, personal care and hygiene, baby items, fresh products and beverages: in this way, the new basket absorbs the products included in the Service Prices.
The agreement consists of two axes: on the one hand, the products that will remain at a fixed price enter the program at a price up to 4% higher than the average recorded in October 2022 and will remain stable for the next 120 days.
On the other hand, the rest of the products sold by the companies that join the program will have a monthly guideline of increasing up to 4% for the same 120 days of the selling price to supermarkets and wholesalers.
