The former Los Angeles Lakers player was an ambassador for FTX and appeared in a video stating that he was “excited” to partner with the cryptocurrency platform. FTX’s bankruptcy marks a mess in the record of O’Neal, one of the most successful NBA stars in business. He owns Five Guys restaurants, gyms and car washes.

Among the most high-sounding names, the Brazilian top model Gisele Bundchen and her ex-partner Tom Brady, winner of seven American football Super Bowls. Both had acquired a stake in the platform and came to campaign for the failed company.
