The announcement of the agreement will be made tomorrow with a midday ceremony at the CCK, where the agreement will be signed together with AFIP and Ambassador Marc Stanley.

“Argentine banks are also now required to be subject to disclosure with respect to the US requirement. Instead, there are a number of requirements that build on a mutual commitment to achieve equivalent levels of information exchange and also establish the responsibility that all information is subject to confidentiality,” the official added.

In “practical” terms, Minister Massa explained, it is all the financial information for the year that is closing and is aimed at those who have changed companies in the US with the aim of “thwarting the possibility of an agreement”.

“You will remember that we did a week of work in the United States, with different fronts, the IDB, the IMF, the Treasury, the State Department and Congress. At that moment we firmly stated that Argentina needed the States States would stop being the tax haven of citizens who escape responsibility with the Argentine treasury in their system’s accounts,” he said.

He also announced that he will send a draft law on the treatment of outsourcing schemes to the Argentine Parliament, the details of which will be known tomorrow afternoon after the AFIP sends the text.
