The government announced on Monday the launch of the Plan Ahora 10, which will allow you to purchase mobile phones in 10 installments, at a fixed price for 90 days. At the same event, it also marked the return of these devices to Now 12, two years ago those products were excluded from the program.
Through the plan will market 72 models of this equipment which is produced in the country and whose value will go $40,000 to $250,000. This was announced by Economy Minister Sergio Massa.
In addition, the government has announced the reintegration of mobile phones into the already known plan Now 12, this deal will be an extension of Now 30 which ends on December 22nd.
Hour 10: when does it start
Although the schedule was announced on Monday, official sources explained that the plan will be operational throughout the week when they get the systems up and running.
So, Now 10, the reintegration of Now 12 and Now 30, will coexist for a few days. The 30-rate plan expires next Thursday.
Now 10 and Now 12: which mobiles can be purchased
Now 10, with an annual rate of 48%, there will be about 72 models of phones from brands manufactured in Tierra del Fuego such as: Samsung, Motorola, Noblex, Alcatel, Philco, TCL and ZTE.
You can buy low, medium and high-end phones, with prices from $40,000 to $250,000.
At 12 o’clock, the offer extends to 103 modelsthe same ones that are included in the Now 30 today. Surely those models have a price adjustment, e.g then the value will be frozen for 90 days until March 15thas announced by the Government.
Now 10 and Now 12: interest rate
The program now 10 will have an interest rate subsidized at 48% per annum (nominal annual rate, which does not include management costs that increase interest). It’s the same cost as the Now 30 plan, the one that ends next week, The Now 12, which has a rate of 64% a year.
card fee
One point to take into consideration is if the consumer grants his credit card fee in order to be able to purchase one of these devices.
It happens that the financing with Ahora 30 (2 and a half years) at a rate of 48% – well below the market – doubles the amount of the operation. By purchasing a $150,000 product, for example, the user would have a limit of $300,000.
Now 10 apply the same rate, but since the period is shorter, the real ticket increases by almost 27%. For a $100,000 cell phone, you only need a share of nearly $127,000.
Hour 10: How long the promotion will last
In principle, the maximum prices for mobile phones will be maintained for 90 days, ie until March 15th.
