It’s a “affidavit of income” which will be carried out on the Internet and must be carried out by the 20th. This first statement takes into account the net profit November 2022 and must be registered by “the owning user”according to sources from the Superintendency, which also announced that the relative Resolution will be published in the Official Journal in these days.

The procedure must be performed every month since the differentiated increase in the value of the quotas that the Government sets is monthly and the variation in the income of the members and the evolution of the minimum living and mobile wage (SMVM) can also have monthly variations.

The form is already online on the Superintendency website (sssalud.gob.ar). To access it you must have level 3 tax key or higher and join the service on the AFIP website.

Once on the Superintendence page, the affiliate will have to click on access to “Prepaid User Affidavit”. Among other information, you must “confirm” the boxes that say: “I declare that I have a net income of less than 6 SMVM” and, then, “I authorize SSSalud to validate the data entered with other organizations”.

The measure concerns voluntary affiliates and those who draw their compulsory contributions through the obras sociales system.

Prepaids have already started informing their partners of the need for registration. “To access this adjustment (of 4.91%) it is necessary to report the net income of the contracting parties for the previous month in a deed of notoriety and on a monthly basis, through the site that will be authorized by the Superintendency for Health Services”.

And they add: “The sworn declaration, for the purposes of applying the aforementioned adjustment, must be real and truthful, resulting any omission or causal inaccuracy sufficient to initiate legal action which might match.

In other cases, it is specified that «the lack of truthfulness of the sworn statement will be considered pursuant to art. 9 of the law 26.682 as reasons for termination of the contractin addition to the legal actions that Obra Social could be called upon to take for the damages and losses that said conduct causes”.

The form will need to be uploaded by the 20th so that prepaid companies have enough time to invoice with the relevant increase percentages. For those who do not carry out the procedure, a surcharge of 8.21% will be applied.

SSSalud sources point this out Neither that agency nor prepaid has information on affiliate incomes Therefore, it was decided that this information should be passed on to the affiliate in terms of an affidavit.

How is the new prepaid adjustment index

as explained clarionAfter the already planned increase of 6.9% in January, the new monthly rate for the increase in the fee for private medicine will take effect from 1 February. It will be 4.91% or 8.21%, depending on the holders’ net income.

For those earning less than 6 minimum wage net (living) income — today $371,718 — the fee will be adjusted by 4.91%, equal to 90% of the change in formal wages under the RIPTE (Taxable Remuneration of Stable Workers) of the immediately preceding published month (October, which yielded 5.45%).

For those who receive more than 6 SMVM, the value of the fee increases by 8.21%, according to the change in the Health Cost Index.

By this way, commissions will not vary equally for all affiliates but they will have segmentation.

This dividing line when setting quota increases, which switch from bimonthly to monthly– was established in early November with decree 743/2022, after criticism by Cristina Kirchner of the 13.8% increase resulting from the Cost Index for the month of December.

Then, on the one hand, that 13.8% was doubled, to 6.9% in December and another 6.9% in January, and the new criteria for increasing quotas were set. “for a period of 18 months”.

For their part, the prepaid health institutions and social works must increase the values of the medical-welfare services provided to the beneficiaries of the prepaid and social works by the clinics, sanatoriums and professionals in at least 90% of the percentage of increase in one’s income based on the fees received.

With this increase, an average family plan for a married couple with 2 minor children could be $70,000 to $90,000 a month. And month to month they will vary differently, depending on whether they exceed 6 SMVM or not.

It is estimated that the sector (the sum of prepaid plus Obras Sociales del Personnel Management) has 6 million beneficiaries (owner and family) of which 20% are volunteers or “pure direct” and the rest corresponds to workers who make their contributions to a social work which has an agreement with the prepaid.
