“From June 30th Let’s hope they connect to the network as that was the day they went to connect but didn’t. Our waiting generates us a monthly cost of 7 to 8 million pesos between the rental of the generator set and the fuel for its operation,” he says. John DeHagen, one of the three business partners who invested 100 million pesos in the soybean extrusion plant.
“The problem is obviously of totally political origin,” adds the entrepreneur. Francesco Paultronianother god one of the partners founded a political party in opposition to the government of Gildo Insfrán of Formosa.
“However, we are finishing configuring the machine with the supplied energy from the generator setand we work soybeans, for which all the authorizations for the plant in the different areas have been obtained, from SENASA, RUCA from AFIP, for which the installation of electric light was required and for this we rented a generator set ”, says John.
“So we managed to advance with the national qualifications, which are almost all achieved. Now we are product registration in SENASA, and waiting for the Government’s whim to end and they give us electricity once and for all,” he says.
With the development of forage agriculture in Formosa, based on corn and sorghum to make silage shredded and grain for the breeding and finishing of steers, the need arose to include soy in the crop rotation. That is, to avoid monoculture of grasses.
With this processing plant, the first in the province of Formosa, the problem of the distance from the machining centers and the cost of transport are solved. Formosa it is importer of 100% soybean and sunflower cake for rodeo feed. Hence, a soybean processing plant is a necessity for the province’s economy.
location of the plant
The plant is practically in the center of the province, at km 1.387 of the State Road 81 and a few km from the city of ibarretta. The company that promotes the plant is Agroindustrias de Formosa SRL, and it is 100% private with its own funds, and the work of the three partners Francesco Paultroni, Robert Schultzand our interviewee John DeHagen.
Another step to be taken from the plant will be the biodiesel processing Even with a local destination, i.e. for the supply of our machinery, trucks and almost self-consumption.
Capacity
The production is about 50,000 liters of oil per month, taking into account the process of decantation, degumming, to reach the final product. At the moment there will be some 2,200 liters of oil per day. If we see the process, at the beginning a dryer unifies the grain that comes from the field, i.e. it is placed in chamber conditions, the humidity is lowered to obtain better pressing and greater efficiency in oil extraction. After a rest period of 7 to 10 days in order to reach the scoured By decantation and centrifugation the oil is ready for delivery.
“We are sure that this plant enhances the alocal agribusinesswhich has little development, especially after the interruption of cotton production, and also stimulates agriculture with rotation of soybeans, which is important as a generator of high quality protein for livestock,” says Juan De Hagen.
