The world is witnessing the full deployment of fifth generation (5-G) mobile technology led by China, and especially by Huawei, the largest high-tech equipment company in the global system; and this means that, strictly speaking, the 5-G phenomenon, considered as the technological advancement of the 21st century, must now be analyzed retrospectively, as something that has already happened, and not as what will come, which is the essential of the future that inhabits the present.

This earth now corresponds to Sixth Generation (6-G) mobile technology, which is not just another wireless connectivity system, equipped with a higher speed than the previous ones, which it acts fundamentally in the inter-individual relationship, and of these with things, but rather implies a qualitative leapa real change of time, which essentially connects the automated intelligences of the whole world and all dimensions of reality.

Moreover, since 6-G essentially uses artificial intelligence (AI) for its dizzying deployment, which is the decisive technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (CRI) and has the Internet of Things (IoT) as its starting point. the intelligent integration through sensors of all the objects of the system, makes the new step of the mobile Internet that is the 6-G, imply a real revolution, a change of nature in the history of wireless connectivity.

Huawei has just presented a report on the prospects opening the 6-G (“6-G: The Next Horizon”), in which it points out that it is about moving between the 5th. and the 6 generation of the “connection of people and things to the link between the Intelligences of everything”.

This means that 6-G goes far beyond communications and becomes the nucleus of the structure of a global system that merges the computing capabilities, sensors and communications of the physical, biological and cybernetic worldwhich is to say that a new era of intelligent integration across all parts and dimensions of reality is emerging.

By this way, it would bring processed, computerized Intelligence to every person, home and business in the world, which would open a new and superior historical horizon of innovation, superior to any other established by the 4 industrial revolutions. It is an absolute historical novelty, an act of deep-rooted creativity.

5-G deployment began in 2020 and was expected to be completed between 2028 and 2030. This sequence indicates that In the period starting in 7 years, companies and things will be fully digitizedthat is, instantly intercommunicated.

But then – this is a peculiarity of the new system – this intercommunication would be done through artificial intelligence (AI)which is what would allow 6-G to reach its full potential, and thus cause an absolute decentralization, with the disappearance of the hitherto centralized “cloud” or “cloud computing” platform, and still based on the use of large ” server”, or even super-computer.

In short, 6-G will change the rules of the game both for the economy and for society, and the question will therefore not be how people communicate and at what speed, but rather the permanent, creative and instantaneous dialogue of the Intelligence of everything with everyone.

As with 5-G, Huawei is once again the 6-G leader in the world; and this happened while he was experiencing the extraordinary weight of the US-imposed policy of sanctions and exclusions. in the last 3 years.

The Chinese company reported in August last year that its total revenues in the first half of 2022 were down 6% from 2021, to $44.7 billion. But what is noteworthy is that sales of its specific business in “the cloud” or “cloud computing” – where 6-G is processed – increased by 28% in that period and delivered more than 15.6 billion dollars.

We must add that Huawei’s total revenue decreased by 28% in 2021as a direct consequence of the sanctions imposed by the United States, especially in the strategically crucial field of access to semiconductors (“chips”) of American technology and manufacture, and which constitute the technological core of the intelligent mobile Internet or “smartphone” .

Huawei is now focusing on 6-G business in China and the world, leading with more than 15,000 units the number of international patents that you have acquired in this domain.

Thus, successive cycles of mobile internet appear every 10 years – 5-G in 2020 and 6-G in 2030 -; and that is why now Huawei aims to surpass the sum of the world’s high-tech equipment companiesled by Samsung, the South Korean.

For this he wants to establish the operating standards of the new technology on a global scale; and it does so starting from the assumption that the technical revolution has its true capital in knowledge.

It is worth noting that Huawei’s headquarters are located in Shenzhen, China.
