Field sales are close to post-PASO 2019 levels and the pandemic

InCAIR is mainly formed by the results of the poll monthly activity carried out between partners across the country, the amount of ads fields for sale or for rent in the main nationally circulated printed paper, the number of web advertisers of CAIR; operations rural activities carried out in the analyzed period; research and inquiries made by investors on the CAIR website; and the number of commercial announcements in the main squares of the interior of the country.

The InCAIR base is 97.5 points, which historically corresponds to its maximum peak recorded in September 2011, in a context in which Cristina Kirchner obtained her re-election with 54% of the votes in the first electoral round. Today this market reflects activity level four times lower.

This latest report expresses the index number 110 which corresponds to the last month of 2022, and highlights the following factors:

  • Drop of 13.38 points compared to the previous month, the third consecutive, in line with the period of lower summer activity.
  • the persistent Drought affecting the whole region and internal economic obstacles affect the normal development of the market. Despite this, calls have arisen for fields with a higher amount of investment.
  • The strength in grain value added to the high global inflation and the lag in land values, make the countryside the capital destination for those looking for a positive real estate impact in the medium term.
