Companies must continue to inform the government of their inventory, cost, price and sales data

Businesses in the commerce and industry sectors must continue to report to the state on a monthly basis the prices and quantities sold of all its final or intermediate goodsaccording to Secretary of Commerce commanded by Matías Tombolini.

According to resolution 67/2023 published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette, companies in the commerce and industry sectors which during 2019 recorded overall sales in the internal market exceeding certain figures, depending on the category they belong to, must monthly report in the Information System for the Implementation of Economic Reactivation Policies (Sipre) the current prices and quantities sold of all its final or intermediate goods, until 31 December 2023.

THE micro enterprises must report sales exceeding $23,560,000 in the case of commerce and $21,990,000 in industry; and the little They will do so when they cross $141,680,000 and $157,740,000, respectively.

For the medium enterprises of tranche 1 these limits will be $1,190 million for trade and $986 million for industry; and for those in Section 1, $1,700 million and $1,441 million.

The regulation stated that “total sales on the internal market means the value of sales made to destination in the national territory, excluding value added tax (VAT) and any corresponding internal tax”.

Companies must also report the prices and quantities produced and sold, as well as the action of all its products in January 2023, taking deadline until March 10th.

The resolution highlighted that “the general increase in prices in a complex economic and social context such as that which Argentina and the world in general are going through, especially affects the general well-being of the population”.

Therefore, the situation “requires urgent decision-making that establishes frameworks of rationality and stabilityand which allow us to resume an economic recovery path and lay the foundations for sustainable growth”.

Therefore, he stressed that “it is considered relevant proceed with execution of policies relating to economic recovery, strengthening of the internal market, maintaining and creating employment, increasing production and commercial activities, defending consumers’ rights and expanding the supply of goods and services”.

He further indicated that “for the satisfactory achievement of these objectives, it is essential cooperation between the state and private entitiesso that it makes it possible to have accurate and up-to-date information to identify and characterize the various problems of the economic sectors involved in production, which have the greatest impact on the country’s population and economic activity”.

In this framework, he considered it necessary to act “prevent situations of shortage or shortage of production factors and final goods, as well as the continuity of services related to production and trade”.

Therefore, he concluded that “it is necessary to have statistical information relating to the prices of final goods and inputs, as well as production data, installed capacity used and shortage or shortage situations, which allow access to constant and up-to-date knowledge of the same in their various stages of production, distribution and marketing”.

Consequently, he stressed that it is necessary “to adopt those measures which contribute to the stabilization of domestic prices of essential products for feeding, as well as for keeping a volume appropriate to the supply needs of the internal marketfavoring a greater production of these goods in the supply chain that goes from the primary producer to the final consumers”.
