The 2020 pandemic was an opportunity for Ecosan, with 25 years of life, to be able, amidst the restrictions and in record time, to lift 11 modular hospitals in different parts of the country. Now ends this month construction of the field which will initiate the Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline.
Unlike traditional construction, industrialized construction is Faster and more efficient processes and its demand is growing worldwide. It is estimated that in the next couple of years this market will account for some $215 billion globally. Only in Argentina have investments been made for US$20 million in 2022.
Another point that favors the adoption of this system is that they are more sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices.
“Today, modular construction is perceived as a sustainable solution due to the growing use of more energy-efficient materials with less environmental impact. On the other hand there is the optimization of resources, since is produced in the factory and then assembled on site, with which the time saved in construction is around 50/60% less than with the traditional system,” says Juan Pablo Rudoni, president of Ecosan.
80% of the turnover of Ecosan, which was born as a manufacturer of portable toilets, currently comes from the modularized building business, with customers ranging from the National State to the private sector, with multi-family houses and in the premium segment, offices, where they report to 100% demand growth.
Ecosan’s business model is exportable. The next step they plan is the expansion in the Mercosur countriesand for this they have the project to build a factory in Loma Verde, in Escobar.
