After showing a video of how they operated, the legal and administrative secretary, Ricardo Casal, specified that after the complaint was filed before the Court n. 10 of Judge Julián Ercolini, with the intervention of Eduardo Taiano’s Public Prosecutor’s Office 8, an operation was immediately ordered which ended with the arrest of the two fake managers who promoted a certain advertisement.
The Ministry of the Economy, through the Secretariat of Commerce, filed a complaint with the Federal Justice against a criminal organization that asked for gifts for the approval of the SIRA (Import System of the Argentine Republic) to carry out import operations.
Casal remarked that the speed and efficiency of justice, led by judge Ercolini and prosecutor Taiano, have allowed this organization to will be interrupted and that the people were detained and at the disposal of Federal Justice.
“The Minister of Economy Sergio Massa immediately ordered the filing of the complaint and the monitoring of the situation in order to interrupt any type of organization that intends to profit from people in good faith who process the SIRAs in the Secretariat of Commerce”, he underlined Casal.
Likewise, and in consideration of this situation, the Secretary of Commerce, Matías Tombolini, presented the App for tracking the SIRA procedure and automatic notification to avoid illegal manoeuvres.
“We will not allow fanning,” said AFIP head Carlos Castagneto.
In turn, Tombolini explained how the tracking App works. They have developed an instruction manual to follow the operation. And they offer a telephone base for any questions.
