Aerolíneas Argentinas will cost 90,000 million pesos to the State during 2023, according to the plan approved by the Ministry of the Economy.
In dollars, at the current exchange rate (wholesale dollar), those contributions that all citizens will make this year to support the state airline are equivalent to 466 million dollarsan average of $1.27 million a day.
Resolution 130 published in the Official Gazette, with the signature of the minister Sergio Massaprovides that the total income of the airlines will be 402,328 million pesosprimarily from sales ($371.7 billion) and other income ($30.5 billion).
To these “operating incomes” are added the contributions of the State, under the figure of “current transfers” by the National Administration, for 90,000 million dollars.
From that sum, between its billing and state subsidies, Aerolíneas expects to obtain an income 492,000 million pesosagainst expenses for $468,000 million and an economic result of “savings” of 24,000 million dollars.
According to the forms attached to Resolution 130, the expenses of the airlines flow into “goods and services” for 329,000 million pesos and “salaries”, for another $113,000 million.
Since the form does not add any further details, all of the payments from would enter “goods and services”. fuel, aircraft leasing, catering and aircraft repair servicesamong other elements.
The “salaries” refer to the salaries of the 11,308 permanent employees (There are no temporary employees). The highest remunerations correspond, in general, to the pilots (they usually attract between 24% and 26% of total wages) and also to aeronautical technicians, a sector whose workforce is not abundant and has been increasingly in demand All over the world.
