Telecom launches 1,500 scholarships to learn programming without previous experience: how to register

Telecom has launched a new tender for its program free programming courses and digital crafts for over 18 years. The seventh edition of the “digit@lers” program offers 1,500 scholarships for young people across the country.

The courses have a duration of between 4 and 6 months, are open and free, in live online mode, with 2 weekly lessons of 3 hours each, from 19:00 to 22:00, on days to be defined based on the chosen course .

THE content offer It includes development courses with Node Js, .NET, Java, Python, Front-end React, Digital Marketing, UX/UI Design, Data Analytics and Testing, and is taught by expert teachers active in the IT market.

Registrations will be open until April 21 andon site www.digitalers.com.ar. The initiative is sponsored by the Argentine Software Industry Chamber (CESSI).

To sign up, no previous knowledge is required and in the selection of participants priority will be given to economically vulnerable young people. After completing the course, whoever graduates they will have access to a certificate of attendance issued by Telecom.

According to Telecom, each course offers useful tools for taking the first steps in the technology sector. Furthermore, the proposal includes the incorporation of transversal skills through tools for the Preparation of CV and profile on different job search platformstips on how to behave in an interview and how to navigate the selection process.

A is also provided content library to deepen your learning, and hands-on exercises to challenge yourself and keep learning.

To improve learning, the company recommends dedicating a minimum of 6 hours a week in addition to lessons.

Among those who sign up there will be a preselection of 300 people per course they must complete a introductory form which will be on the platform for 7 days. Of those who finish that module on time and correctly, 50 will be selected per course, which is the maximum capacity,

As a complement, those who enter the program have the opportunity to participate in talks with telecom technology leaderswhere first-hand experiences are shared on how to learn, work and grow in the world of technology.

With this program, the company has already trained 2,500 people, through 97 courses and more than 14,000 hours of content.
