The agricultural dollar is regulated but the soybean market is stopped: producers are asking for a better price

The soybean market remains paralyzed despite the decree published this Tuesday in the Official Gazette regulating the soybean dollar. “It’s ironed,” industry sources told Clarín.

This Tuesday, the Government published in the Official Gazette resolution 115/2023 which governs the third Export Increase Program (PIE), established by decree 194/2023.

There it was made clear due to producers’ uncertainty that the soybean dollar would not apply to sales of fertilizers, seeds and other low-trade inputs made before the decree took effect. And even those subjects who do not adhere to the program are not reached, both for operations such as the payment of field rents, the purchase of pellets or flours for animal feed, processing for balanced feed, or any other type of operation.
