The Ministry of Tourism and Sports officially launched this Friday the fourth edition of the Pre-Travel, the official program that promotes the return of 50% of tourist expenses within the country.
To implement the program, in the last few hours, area officials signed an agreement with hotel rooms to set benchmarks in the various accommodation categories and stipulated an increase of about 40% compared to the previous editionin October and November last year.
Furthermore, another agreement was signed with reference prices that do not include air transfers for tourist packages offered by travel agencies. In this case, there will be no “ceiling” on prices.
From when you can buy it, when you can use it and what is the refund limit, all the details of the fourth version of the program:
- there will be only seven days to make purchases of tour packages, tickets and hotels.
- Purchases must be made from 19 to 25 April.
- There will be time to load the vouchers Until April 28th.
- This version can be used between 24 May and 30 June (including the extra-long bridges of 25-28 May and 17-20 June).
- As with PreViaje 3, this edition will include a price agreement with the hotel sector.
- In addition, the Government has reached an agreement on benchmarks with travel agencies.
- Pensioners: as in previous editions, PAMI pensioners will receive a 70% refund. which can be reused in various activities.
- The refunded money can be used in other tourist services (travel and excursion agencies, accommodation, car and equipment rental, gastronomy, cabotage air transport, land and long-distance tourism) and in cultural consumption (crafts, cinema, galleries, museumsregional products, recitals and theatres), in all destinations in the country.
- You can use the pre-trip all over the age of 18 years resident in the Argentine Republic.
Pre-trip 4: refund limit
The return limit will be $70,000. The credit can be spent from the travel date, e until 31 October 2023.

Pre-Trip 4: how to use it
- Enter the official site Pre-Trip: https://www.previaje.gob.ar/
- Create an account and complete the registration form.
- Create a trip and specify origin, destination, departure date and return.
- Apply for reimbursement through the program website.
- Verify the benefit after validation of the vouchers.
Pre-trip 4: requirements
- Be over 18 years old
- Have at least CUIT/CUIL and tax ID level 3 for authentication.
- Search for a provider within the plan’s list.
- Sign in My Argentina – Level 3, with validation of biometric data.
According to the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Matías Lammens, “with this new edition, there will be no low season in Argentina”.
The budget allocated by the Ministry of Tourism for the program is approx $15 billion. In its first three editions, the initiative was used by 6 million people, with an injection of almost 200 billion dollars, according to data processed by Tourism.
