Internal supermarkets have put together their own basket of “differentiated prices”: 20 products with a 20% discount.

Supermarkets and supermarkets in the local capitals, united in the Red Súper Argentinos, have launched a basket of “differentiated prices”. Regard 20 products to those who have announced that they will run a 20% discount for 60 daysstarting Wednesday 27 December.

“The initiative is the result of the meetings held with the Secretary of Commerce of the Nation, Pablo Lavigne, and the Undersecretary of Consumer Defense and Commercial Loyalty, responsible for Internal Trade, Fernando Blanco Muiño”, the entities specified in a note . CAS and FASA, which bring together chains or supermarkets located mainly inland.

The supermarkets reiterate “their support for the current management, offering essential products at very affordable prices”.

The “differentiated prices” basket is made up of foods such as sugar, grass, tagliatelle, flour, oil, savory crackers, sweet crackers, eggs, milk, bread, legumes (peas/lentils), tomato puree and dulce de leche.

There is also no shortage of drinks and infusions, such as soft drinks, tea and cooked mate; personal care products, such as toilet paper and toilet soap; and household cleaning products, such as bleach, kitchen paper and detergent.

“In this new phase, no price controls, freezing and other forms of state interventionentrepreneurs contribute, voluntarily and temporarily, so that the inflationary scourge affects consumers’ purchasing power less”, they indicated in the declaration signed by Ricardo Zorzón, president of CAS and Víctor Palpacelli, director of FASA.
