After the two increases applied in December, the oil companies fuel prices start to rise again. The adjustment is 27%. Several industry sources confirm this. Just this morning YPF validated the increase.

On average, according to industry sources, the new prices in the city of Buenos Aires have become $700 for super gasoline, $868 for premium gasoline, $750 for common diesel and $944 for euro or premium diesel.
Note that in the month of December, gasoline had two increases: one up to 30% on December 8, and another between 30% and 37% on December 13, after the devaluation of the official dollar rate. Then in some cases the values had a small retreat.
The increase comes a few days after the authorization from the Ministry of Energy last Thursday increases of 34.44% for the purchase price of biodiesel, 33.65% for bioethanol made from sugar cane and 28.45% for those based on corn.

The previous increase occurred on December 8th. Shell took the lead, with 30%, and was later joined by YPF.
The price update that occurs between the end of this Tuesday and the beginning of Wednesday has been replicated in several provinces. And it hit the pockets hard.
