The government has decided to extend grain shipments to prevent and avoid shortages in the domestic market. The art establishes it Resolution 5/2024 published in the Official Journal.
According to the regulations, Foreign Sales Actors (DJVEs) are granted an exceptional automatic extension of 30 calendar days, counted from the end of shipment, with an end date of shipment between February 1 and February 29, 2024, and 60 days of calendar, counted from the end of shipment to the Affidavits of Foreign Sale (DJVE) with the end of shipment date between March 1 and March 31, 2024.
According to the recitals of the law, signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Fernando Villelladue to the great drought that hit Argentina during the 2022/2023 campaign, and having extended the Affidavits of Foreign Sales (DJVE) of the aforementioned campaign, An unusual concentration was generated in the months of February and March.

The wheat production estimate for the current campaign increased to 15.1 million tonnes thanks to better yields in southeast Buenos Aires, according to a report from the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange.
In its weekly agricultural panorama, the stock exchange body specified that the current wheat harvest has reached 83.7% of the suitable area.
The midweek progress of work in the southern agricultural zone was between 21 and 33 percentage points after a week of few water records.
However, there is a delay compared to last year and the average of the last five campaigns of 15.8 and 14 percentage points respectively.
