“To give greater functionality to the company, the eight directions that from now on will form the new organic structure of Aerolíneas Argentinas will be: Press and Institutional Relations, Legal Affairs, Economic, Financial, Commercial, Human Resources, Technical and Fleet, Coordination of aviation operations, politics and corporate services,” the ministry added.

The current owner of Airlines, Fabiano LombardoOr he had been commercial director for the last four years, when he returned to the state airline after being fired during the Mauricio Macri government.

Lombardo worked at Aerolíneas during the ten years in which the company was managed by La Cámpora, but with a technical profile: he was already an executive trained at the Brazilian airline Varig and one of its successor airlines, Gol. And during Macrismo’s four years he returned to the private sector as representative for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay of the Portuguese Tap Air and then as general director for South America of the Brazilian Azul Linhas Aéreas.

The Government has not yet taken action Roadmap on how Aerolíneas will continue, which according to the Decree of Necessity and Urgency 70 must be handed over to its workers.
