The Government has ordered an increase in the amounts of the Food Card for February, which doubles the amounts if the values of December 2023 are taken.
This emerges clearly from resolution 11/2024 published this Thursday in the Official Journal and signed by the Ministry of Human Capital.
In this way, starting next month, Families in vulnerable situations will receive $44,000, $69,000 or $91,000 depending on the number of children. As of December, those amounts were $22,000, $34,500 and $45,500, respectively.
This is the second increase granted by Javier Milei’s administration on this benefit. In January the Minister of Economy, Luis “Totò” Caputo had already confirmed a 50% increase. for Food Paper.
With this increase the values in the first month of the year were as follows:
- Families with one child: $33,000.
- Families with two children: $51,750.
- Families with three children: $68,250

Families with two children aged 0 to 14 who receive the Universal Child Allowance, the Universal Allowance for children with disabilities or the Pension for mothers of 7 or more children will go from 34,500 pesos to 69 thousand dollars.
