For the country’s main entrepreneurs, the general approval of the so-called Omnibus Law is a “very important step“which clarifies the uncertainty.
In a statement, the powerful Argentine Business Association recalls: “The general approval by the Chamber of Deputies of the Charter of Bases and Starting Points for the Freedom of Argentines, represents a very important step”.
There it is said that “this decision adopted within the framework of the institutions that make up our national Constitution contributes remove uncertainty since, as we have repeatedly stated, the representative system of republican and federal government is the central foundation of our political and social life and the crucial factor for the functioning of the private sector”.
For AEA, in Argentina “it is essential generate the conditions that favor investment decisions and make possible the full mobilization of the capabilities and energies of the business community, since businesses are the main generators of employment for Argentines, those that produce goods and services that supply the domestic market, those that generate foreign currency through exports, so as “those who, together with citizens, support the functioning of the State through taxes”.
The entity is the first to be expressed around the approval this Friday to Deputies.
AEA was founded in 2002 on the initiative of a group of entrepreneurs with the aim of “promoting the economic and social development of Argentina from the point of view of private enterprise. The owners and CEOs of the country’s largest companies personally participate in public policy analysis.
The members of the Association manage companies that, together, provide jobs 240,000 people and who together contribute to more than 60% of the GDP as well as representing the major exporters.
The names that make up its board of directors demonstrate the weight of AEA.
