The head of an international bank has supported the government and wants to invest in the country

The executive director of Citigroup, Jane Fraserhe is in Argentina and met the Chief of Staff this Friday at Casa Rosada, Nicolas Posseand the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo. Along with other Citi executives, the head of American bank expressed his support for government reforms and highlighted the international interest in investments in the countryaccording to official sources.

“In this sense, Citigroup representatives expressed their intention to continue developing the company in the country. In this way, particular emphasis was placed during the meeting interest of foreign companies in investing in Argentina following economic reforms announced by the Government”, underlined the Chief of Staff and the Ministry of Economy in a joint statement.

The Finance Secretary also attended the meeting Pablo Quirno; Citigroup’s CEO for Latin America, Giulio Figueroa; and the general director of Citigroup Argentina, Frederick Elewaut.
