Since then, however, Ferraro’s resignation has not yet become effective He has a license application until the 29th of this month.

With this reduction of portfolios, President Javier Milei returns to his original plan of having 8 ministries. The previous administration had reached 18. Milei had decided to reduce them to 8, although in the end he chose to keep Health as a ministry instead of transforming it into a secretariat dependent on Human Capital.

With these changes Luis Caputo appears as the main winner as he absorbs the most important secretaries: Transport, Public Works and Territorial Development and Habitat.

Furthermore, the National Institute of Family, Peasant and Indigenous Agriculture moves from Human Capital to Economy.
