The State Workers’ Association (ATE) has confirmed this Saturday a 48-hour strike in ports, airports and customs threatens to stop exports agroindustrial. The force measurement will be carried out next Tuesday and Wednesday.
The measure of force was confirmed by the general secretary of the ATE, Rodolfo Aguiar, who issued the statement asks Javier Milei for threatening to fire 30% of the workers at the Senasa plant.
“Faced with the threat of applying a 30% cut to SENASA’s functional staff, we have decided to initiate an energetic measure that will have a strong impact on the economy. completely stop international trade in our country, and we will not accept that we workers are held responsible for the impact on exports. We will not allow illegal dismissals to occur”, reads the text sent to the new Secretary of Labor, Julio Cordero.
From the ATE they warn that “they will do it paralyze all controls at ports, airports and customsjust as controls on all zoophytosanitary barriers in the country will be eliminated.”
