Amid the controversy and questions about the versions that indicated the withdrawal in April it would be paid in two installmentsthe Government explained the reasons why it arranged the “division” between the asset credit and the bonus.
It was the presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni who, with an audio message sent to Miter radio, explained why they will be two different deposits.
“First the pension formula decree came out and then the bonus decree was published, of 70,000 pesos, and since we are at the end of the month due to the issue of working days, which we have exhausted, what will happen is what will be paid to pensioners two different settlements. One for the pension with the new formula, the new regime, and another with the bonus,” Adorni said.
“It is done at two different times, but not because they are paid in installments but because administratively it has to be done at two different times, nothing more”, he tried to justify.
In the same message, he specified that the time between one payment and another “will be that dictated by the administrative processes” but assured that “it will be immediate”.
