Who is Guillermo Hang, the replacement of Roberto Feletti

Minutes after learning of Roberto Feletti’s resignation, it became known who would replace him. This is to Guillermo Hang the new Secretary of Internal Commerce and on Monday afternoon he had already met Martín Guzmán.

Hang and Guzmán maintain a good link before the arrival of the new official in the Government. weeks ago was the one accompanied the minister at the meeting organized by businessmen at the Llao Llao hotel in Bariloche.

He is currently part of the Central Bank board of directors headed by Miguel Ángel Pesce. Hang previously worked in various areas of the Ministry of Economy from 2008 to 2015.

In his profile at BCRA it is listed that he was an advisor to the Ministerial Unit (2012-2013; 2019-2020). He has worked in the National Directorate of Public Investment, Models and Forecasts Directorate and National Directorate of Development Strategies, all of them within the scope of the Secretariat of Economic Policy (2008-2010; 2014-2016).

He is also an advisor to the IBRD (International Bank for Reconstruction and Development), World Bank; Public Works and Housing, Ministry of the Interior of Argentina (2016-2017); and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Ministry of Economy of Argentina (2008).

His arrival at the Central Bank as director took place with the arrival of Alberto Fernández at Casa Rosada and with Pesce’s support.

He is a researcher and visiting researcher at the Economic and Financial Center for Development of Argentina (CEFID-AR, 2010-2015) and has written articles for various research centers. It also offers freelance consulting services for the public and private sectors (2016-2019).

The new Secretary of Domestic Trade has a degree in Economics from the University of La Plata, the same university where Martín Guzmán graduated.
