As the cuts continue in different parts of the country, hauliers will drive a “truck” to the Obelisk on Tuesday to protest the lack of diesel that has already spread across most of the country.
“Given the lack of response from the competent authorities to our claims, the coordination table resolves to investigate the measures of force and cuts in the various ports and routes at national level”, indicated in a joint statement the Single Union of Port Workers Administrations (SUTAP), Transportistas Unidos de Argentina (TUDA), National Union of Transportistas y Afines de la República Argentina (Untra) and Autoconvocados Unidos, the entities carrying out the strike.
Likewise, they communicated that, together with the Autonomous CTA, “we will continue with our plan of struggle with a concentration and an act on Av) de Julio and Diagonal Norte”. In any case, they have not yet confirmed the time of the protest in downtown Buenos Aires.
Also, roadblocks will be extended to several locations. As reported, the provinces and localities affected by the different blocks will be the following: Buenos Aires (Bahía Blanca, Quequén, Pigüé, Tres Arroyos, Dolores, Lobería, Coronel Suárez, Tandil, Balcarce, Oriente, Darregueira, Sáenz Peña and San Nicolás), Entre Ríos (Concordia, La Paz and Gualeguaychú), all ports of Rosario, Route 11, Santa Fe (Timbúes and Rufino), Chaco (Charata, Las Breñas, San Lorenzo Norte, Nelson and Esperanza), Santiago del Estero (Quimili) , Salta (Las Lajitas), Cordova (Río Primero, Sinsacate, Obispo Trejo, Río Cuarto and Jesús María), Corrientes (Mercedes), Neuquén and Río Negro.
Remember that last week the meeting between the government and the carriers has failed. The transport companies did not attend the agreed meeting because they warned that the officials who had promised their presence would not be present.
Meanwhile, the Argentine Federation of Commercial Freight Entities (Fadeeac) have been investigating places in Argentina with diesel problems. Last week the only province in which a normal supply of diesel was recorded was Tierra del FuegoAcross the rest of the country, freight companies have been forced to stand in long lines and pay premium prices to fill their tanks.
With over 1,200 elaborate responses, the map shows that the 16 most complicated districts, where there is a very low fuel supply and delays of up to 12 hours for loading, are Buenos Aires, CABA, Entre Ríos, Corrientes, Misiones, Santa Fe, Córdoba, Tucumán, Salta, Jujuy, Chaco, Formosa, San Juan, Mendoza, La Rioja and La Pampa.
In second place for gravity are San Luis, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero and Santa Cruz, where the average supply is 20 liters of diesel per unit. In Neuquén, Río Negro and Chubut an average of between 50 and 100 liters per vehicle is loaded, while in Tierra del Fuego there were no supply problems or load quotas.
In this scenario, this morning many routes in the province of Santa Fe woke up with cuts in truck traffic, in particular the main accesses to the ports of the great Rosario. In fact, andThis morning, just over 1,600 trucks entered the portsagainst 2,300 on the same date last season.
The points where the protests have been observed are the RN 11 and RP 91 near Villa La Ribera, the RN11 near Nelson, the RN A012 and RP 18 near Piñero, and the RN33 and RN7 in Rufino. In the middle of the morning, by court order, the access gate to San Lorenzo (North) / (Puerto Gral. San Martin Sur) was revoked, but the one at Villa La Ribera / Timbues remained.
