The domestic trade secretary renewed on Friday the Careful Cuts program, which includes the seven most popular cuts of meat at reference prices below market prices. The agency is also continuing to meet with the dairy sector to agree on a new basket of products for the sector.

The negotiations were led by Martín Pollera, the official appointed by the Minister of Economy, Silvina Batakis, to head that portfolio, replacing Alejandro Hang.

The secretariat specified in a statement that, after business meetings held by the secretary with the Association of United Supermarkets (ASU) and with the directors of the ABC meat exporters consortium, the following was agreed prices per kilo through August 7: Asado de Tira, $ 729; Blank, $ 955; Matambre, $ 929; Skirt, $ 478; Tapas de Asado, $ 729; Buttock, $ 999; and palette, $ 809.

In the case of the Patagonian region – where boneless cuts are sold – the values ​​must add a differential of 6%.

As for the dairy sector, Pollera yesterday held a working meeting with the executives of the main companies in the sector to agree on a basket with the most representative products in the sector.

“It was a fruitful meeting in which the entrepreneurs presented their proposals to reduce the price gap between the products in the basket and those that are not, taking into account the increases in production costs in recent months”, they stressed. Internal trade.

Pricing Care is available every day of the week in retail supermarket chains across the country such as Jumbo, Vea, Disco, Changomás, Coto, Carrefour, Día, Josimar, La Anónima, Libertad, Cooperativa Obrera, Super Santiago, Himisa Supermarket, Beltran, Blü, Borbotti, El Solar, El Zorzón, Único, El Abastecador and Alfa.

The government also renewed on Friday the basket of fruit and vegetables available in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA)every day, in the supermarkets Día, Walmart, Changomas, Jumbo, Vea, Disco, Coto, Carrefour and Makro.
