In this sense, 735,000 were imported in 2019 and 522,000 in 2018.

He also indicated: “We are working with the Central Bank to ensure, as has been done up to now, the willingness to import the necessary fertilizers and plant protection products, with the firm decision to reduce the access period from 90 days to 60 days to the foreign exchange market for those inputs. “

In this sense, he indicated that “in the management of President Alberto Fernández, there is an increase in the purchase of fertilizers for the Argentine countryside because more is produced”.

“From the national government as well as from our Ministry, together with the provincial ministers, we continue to be able to give producers certainty and predictability. This is our main objective: to work to provide the necessary tools that help improve and increase production, satisfy the domestic consumption and increase exports and, in this way, respond to the demands of food security “, said Domínguez.
