The consumer says she is outraged by the first response from the restaurant where she bought the burger: a 10% discount coupon on her next order.

the parisian In fact, we learned that the McDonald’s in Saint-Witz (Val-d’Oise), delivered a Big Tasty to a customer in February 2021 containing… a lizard.

“I felt that there was something strange. I opened it up and that’s when I discovered a squashed lizard with its guts sticking out. It was well covered in sauce, the cook must have seen it.” she explains.

Neither one nor two, he returns to the cast’s home restaurant to ask for explanations. “I had the impression that they were not surprised at all. (…) The manager was not there.”

But it is above all the restaurant’s proposal that scandalizes the consumer: 10% discount on his next meal… The customer refuses and worries about keeping the object of the infraction.

A little later, she is still contacted by a sign manager who offers her a settlement with her insurance. She prefers to wait and get a lawyer to issue a direct citation for McDo to appear in court for endangering the lives of others. The hearing will take place in February 2023 at the Pontoise courthouse (Val-d’Oise).
