management gets angry

The situation could be even more tense since the company’s pilots are currently being consulted by the unions to find out if they will join the movement.

Ver.di intends to “increase the pressure” on management, demanding a 9.5% salary increase, according to a statement.

For its part, management regrets that the negotiations are falling apart so quickly. Lufthansa has already canceled about 6,000 flights this summer while the first German airport, in Frankfurt, intends to lighten the schedule to “further stabilize air operations”, seriously interrupted by holiday departures.
