The Ministry of Economy announced on Monday the launch of an aid system endowed with 100 million euros to “support the territories in the face of changes in the automotive sector.”
This call for expressions of interest called “Industrial Rebound” foresees, on the one hand, the deployment of “support engineering” for intermunicipalities, for three months, up to a total of 10 million euros.
It must “facilitate the identification and implementation of new industrial projects (…) and the development of a roadmap for industrial reactivation in the medium term.”
Grants and reimbursable advances of up to 90 million euros will then support “industrial projects detected and considered a priority, in particular projects that generate employment and contribute to the ecological transition of the territory.”

Operated by the Banque des Territoires for its engineering component and by Bpifrance for its financing component, this system should support around ten territories per year until 2026.
